November 8, 2020

The first Sunday in November is the greatest day of the year in the Big Apple. The great race would have been run last Sunday through the five boroughs, and for some reason, today I’m truly missing it.

Marathon Sunday. Two magical words that mean so much to the entire city.

I’ve waxed poetic about my love for this race numerous times before….this time I’ll let Alec Baldwin do it.

God how I miss my city.

Born and raised on City Island, in The Bronx (the only borough of the city so awesome it needs the word THE before it), I’ll carry my accent to my grave.

2021….I’ll be back, toeing the line with 55,000 other athletes in Staten Island. I cannot wait.
