Today, I’m going to get to do something kind of cool: I get to present a paper that I wrote to my classmates and professors at Harvard Business School.
I just had to re-read that statement, as I never thought I’d ever have an opportunity to type or say those words.
The presentation will be 15 minutes, discussing due diligence, oversight, and ethics in investment management.
I’ve been working long and hard to improve myself in so many ways. I’ve got a long, long way to go. I’ve made tons of stupid mistakes that I still regret daily. But there are days where you need to simply take a breath and, for just a few minutes, enjoy something you’ve done right. Celebrate a victory. Savor it for the day, and then put it away and say “what’s next?”
