500 Miles For SMA

500 Miles for SMA was a multi-day endurance event that I ran from August 18th 2015 – September 4th 2015.  I averaged about 23-28 miles a day, covering over 400 miles.  I began at the Walt Disney Family Museum in the Presidio of San Francisco, and finished at the front gates of Disneyland.  I ran this event in order to raise awareness and donations for Do Away With SMA (www.doawaywithsma.org).

“SMA”is Spinal Muscular Atrophy – the number one genetic killer of children under the age of two in the world.  My charity was founded in January 2014, and is a 501c3 non-profit organization.  Please check us out if you have a moment!  You can find a recap of our event in many spots, including:
